Feeling discouraged because you've lost that zest for life that you once had? Rekindle that joy and excitement by creating a laundry list of all the off-the-wall things you want to do before you die (ex. run a marathon, take a trip to Europe, write a book, trace your roots, learn a foreign language, ...) then take steps to accomplish at least one off-the-wall thing a year.
T. S. Eliot said: "If you haven't the strength to impose your own terms upon life, you must accept the terms it offers you."
Norman Vincent Peale said: "If you have zest and enthusiasm you attract zest and enthusiasm. Life does give back in kind."
