A Balancing Blessings Nugget

>> Thursday, November 12, 2009

It's mid November and soon you will probably be preparing to create that detailed list of goals you want to accomplish in the coming year? Before your goals lose their novelty, and you abandon them by the end of the first month of the new year, stop and think about the roles you fulfill daily (ex. wife, mother, Christian, career woman, business owner, student, friend, etc.); then begin to think of goals you want to accomplish in each of these roles. Keep your goals simple by only listing one or two things that you want to accomplish in each of the roles. Remember, goals should be SMART. According to the SMART acronym, your goals should be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound (attached to a specific date or time frame).
